Tissue Sample Unique Numbering Identification Method

ProSampler uses an exclusive method of assigning unique numbers to individual tissue collection capsules that is fast and convenient. The first step is to email request for authorized Excel file download.

Excel File - Three Simple Steps

1. Assign a lot, pen or premise I.D. number into row 1 of the Excel File.
2. Enter a color code for the color ear tags that are being applied.
3. Enter the first number in your sequential numbering order of ear tags.

Digital File Established

With your Excel file setup completed you can email this to the diagnostic lab so they will be prepared to receive your tissue samples.

Label Printing

Using the label stock that comes with your ProSampler test kit, print out your labels and attach them to the individual 8-row capsule clips.

Options

If tissue sampling animals with established I.D. numbers, write these numbers down into the field note cards that can be printed from the Excel file. Then, enter this information into the Excel file you have downloaded into your computer.

If using radio frequency (RFID) tags, scan the EID identification numbers into the Excel file you have set up and entered into your PDA. Then, enter this information into the Excel file you have downloaded into your computer.
